Madison Scott is an American NCAA Division I collegiate women’s basketball player for the Ole Miss Rebels competing in the Southeastern Conference. Scott is a Maryland native, born on Dec. 27, 2001, to Sakina Scott-Dailey and Johnnie Dailey, and has three siblings: London, Summer, and Zion.

Standing 6’1”, Madison is often described by national evaluators as a pro in the making. She brings an outstanding amount of athleticism to the game of basketball. She is excellent from the mid-range to the rim and extremely quick in transition. Her long and slim physique allows her the ability to get into passing lanes causing deflections and steals while also blocking shots. She is known for being a fantastic defender but contributes significantly to both ends of the floor.

      She started in all 32 games … Had a career-best performance against Jackson State with 21 points … 15 games with ten plus points … Three double-doubles on the season … Snagged 15 Rebounds versus LSU … Shot a perfect 8-of-8 at Cincinnati, to become the only Rebel in the last 20 years to shoot 1.000 with eight or more attempts in a game … Totaled a career-high six steals in the season opener against Belmont …  Averaged 9.6 points and 6.9 rebounds per game.

      Named the SEC Freshman of the Year, the first for Ole Miss since 2003-04 (Armintie Price) … Six-time SEC Freshman of the Week, one of three six-time winners ever … Led SEC freshmen in rebounding, averaging 7.1 boards per game … Ranked 13th nationally among freshman in rebounds per game … Appeared in 24 games for the Rebels, starting in 20 … Scored in double-digits in 13 games, including seven double-doubles, 12 games with at least seven boards … Recorded back-to-back double-doubles in the WNIT … Led the team shooting .539 from the field, third on the team in points (9.6) and second in rebounds (7.1) … Scored a career-high 17 points at No. 18 Arkansas, and recorded her fourth double-double after grabbing ten boards.
    • Member of the USA U24 roster for the 2023 FIBA 3×3 Women’s Series.
    • Represented USA U24 at Poitiers Stop from June 27-28, 2023, and led the team in scoring with 15 points (5.0 ppg) through three games. The team finished eighth at the stop.
    • Represented USA U24 at Orleans Stop from June 23-24, 2023, and led the team in scoring with 17 points (5.7 ppg) through three games. The team finished seventh at the stop.
    • Helped USA U24 to a second-place finish at the Montreal Stop from September 2-3, 2023.
    • Member of the 2023 USA Basketball 3×3 U23 Nations League Team, which competed at the FIBA 3×3 Nations League Americas conference July 24-30 in Rancagua, Chile. The team placed first in the conference, qualifying the USA for the Nations League Final.
    • Participated in 2023 3X Nationals in Colorado Springs, Colorado, with team Ole Miss.
  • Madi Scott Basketball Foundation is a non-profit organization founded to create opportunities for youth through basketball skill development and life skill preparation. The mission is to give back to the youth in communities all over who share the same love for basketball that I do but do not have access to the necessary resources. Not only will the youth learn basketball skills, but the goal is to teach values that will help them in life outside of basketball, such as communication, patience, commitment, perseverance, resilience, and hard work.
